Social Media ‘How-To’ Classes in New York and D.C.

Feeling left out? Are all the hipsters “tweeting?” Are the cool kids “posting” to their Facebook pages and bragging about their “followers?” Are your colleagues “linking in” to LinkedIn? Does your mom “blog”?

If you have no idea what any of that means, Future Media Concepts and Richard Harrington want to give you a social media makeover.

March 9 in New York and March 10 in Washington, they will offer an event, “Social Media for Business Professionals.”

These workshops are designed to give business professionals the basics on social media outlets and how to use them to promote a business.

FMC cofounder and President Ben Kozuch said Harrington offered a social media workshop at last year’s NAB Show that was well received. According to Kozuch the workshop aims at “building a solid foundation for leveraging social media networks for business endeavours.”

Future Media Concepts specializes in digital media training. Harrington is an author of books on podcasting and Photoshop. He has also produced “official” books for Adobe and Apple.

Registration is required and the cost is $199.
