Sennheiser Engineer Injured in Hit and Run During Convention
Volker Schmitt, senior engineer for Sennheiser Electronics Corp. in Connecticut, was severely injured when he was struck by a hit and run driver during the NAB show in Las Vegas this week.
According to Sennheiser representatives, Schmitt was hit Tuesday evening while crossing Flamingo Boulevard in front of the Tuscany Hotel. Volker was in critical but stable condition, they said, at a local hospital.
They say the driver subsequently was apprehended by police.
