SBE Details National Meeting Agenda
The schedule for the upcoming Society of Broadcast Engineers
National Meeting has been released.
The meeting takes place Oct. 26–27, in Madison, Wis., and will be held in conjunction with the Wisconsin Broadcasters Clinic, sponsored by SBE Chapter 24 and the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.
Starting off the national meeting is a gathering of the Certification Committee, 2–4 p.m. (all times local) on Oct. 26. The national board of directors meets at 6 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 27 starts with the Fellows Breakfast at 8 a.m. The SBE Annual Membership meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. and will be streamed online. The National Reception will be held at 5, followed by the SBE National Awards Dinner, where SBE will salute its Broadcast Engineer of the Year John Luff and Educator of the Year Charles "Buc" Fitch, and honor Fellows Sterling Davis and Robert Locke.
Tickets are required for the National Awards Dinner.
