Sanus Debuts 'Super Slim' DTV Mounts
Sanus 'Super Slim'

Sanus Systems is unveiling its latest category of TV monitor mounts with a couple of new models in its VisionMount line. Dubbing its new offerings "Super Slim" mounts, the units are designed to hold large-screen LCD, plasma and (ultra-thin) LED TV panels one inch or less from a wall.

The first or two models (LL11-B1) can mount a DTV screen between 37-65 inches diameter (weighing up to 150 pounds). The second slightly higher-priced mount (ML11-B1) is geared for panels measuring 26-46 inches (weighing up to 100 pounds), according to the St. Paul, Minn.-based company.

Sanus said both new mounts provide post-installation leveling/height adjusting—permitting about one half-inch of movement. Both mounts also feature locking mechanisms that have a discernible "click" to allow full and correct installation between the TV panels and the wall plate. Also included are a quick-release tab, and props to securely extend the panel about three inches from the wall to access cables connections and other hookups.
