San Diego TV Stations Schedule Blink

All of the over-the-air, full-power broadcast television stations in San Diego are going to shut down analog signals for two minutes on Dec. 17, just before 7 p.m. Nine stations will run a public service message telling folks what to do if they see the billboard, which will be closed-captioned and on a Spanish secondary audio program. The test will be conducted again Jan. 14.

Participating stations include KFMB-TV Channel 8 (CBS); KGTV-TV Channel 10 (ABC); KNSD-TV Channel 7/39 (NBC); KPBS-TV Channel 11 (PBS); KSWB-TV Channel 5/69 (FOX); KUSI-TV Channel 9/51 (Independent); XDTV-TV Channel 13 (MyTV); XETV-TV Channel 6 (CW); and Channel 4 San Diego (Cox).
