Ross Video Acquires Media Refinery

IROQUOIS, ONTARIO: Ross Video has completed its acquisition of Media Refinery, a motion graphics concern in the Netherlands. Ross specializes in switchers and terminal gear.

“We will be increasing our presence in European markets as a result of this acquisition,” said David Ross, CEO of Ross Video.

Media Refinery’s employees are now employees of Ross Video Europe and will continue to be based in Hilversum’s Media Park, The Netherlands. Ross will immediately offer Media Refinery’s hi-def character-generating software, XPression and will showcase the product at NAB 2009.

Ross Video employees around 300 people. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
