Rehr Welcomes Attendees to NAB2006

Rehr told attendees NAB will give them “the tools you need to arm yourselves” to compete, although “Being an election year, we expect some gridlock” on Capitol Hill.
He stressed the industry should be committed to electing members of Congress sympathetic to broadcasters. He thanked those broadcasters who donated to NAB’ Political Action Committee, and said “to those who don’t, you’ll hear from us soon.”
