Radio France Takes SADiE on the Road

Radio France recently purchased a trio of SADiE LRX2 portable multitrack location recording systems and two PCM2 laptop-based editing systems for mobile production applications.

The units will be used across France to provide content for the seven national services of the French public-service broadcaster.

"The LRX units have been used at music festivals in Beaune, Saintes, La Roque-d'Anthéron, and the theatre festival of Avignon," stated Production Support Manager Philippe Destrebecq. "We're currently planning to buy three more of them in 2010 too to increase our coverage across the country."

The SADiE LRX2 location audio workstation combines SADiE professional audio I/O modules with a tactile hardware control surface and a USB connection to a laptop computer.

The SADiE PCM2 is a non-destructive hardware audio editing system complete with SADiE Version 5 software.
