Primera Technology Inc., manufacturers and developers in the printing and CD/DVD duplication industries, announced the showing of its Bravo SE Disc Publisher at NAB2007.
The Bravo SE system consists of the CD/DVD Publisher, a Blu-ray version called Blu Disc Publisher and the automated, no-drive AutoPrinter. Bravo SE works by automating the whole burning-and-printing process instead of individually copying discs and applying their labels. The recording takes place on a built-in Pioneer DVR-111 DVD±R/CD-R recorder. Each CD or DVD is then individually inkjet-printed directly in full-color at a resolution of up to 4800 dpi.
An automatic, hands-free batch of up to 20 discs can be produced, an ideal size for organizations or companies including broadcast networks, churches, schools and film, video or audio production studios. Bravo SE connects to a PC via high-speed USB 2.0, is supported by Windows 2000/XP/Vista and is equipped with PTPublisher disc duplication software and SureThing CD-labeling software with graphic design features. Bravo SE also attaches to any Macintosh running Apple OS X and includes CharisMac Engineering’s Discribe V5.0 duplication software with design templates for Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
