'Prewired' HD Products at Builders Show
ComponexX is introducing what it calls a "top-to-bottom prewire HD package" at this week's International Builders Show in Orlando, Fla. The package starts at the top (literally) with a line of outdoor Winegard HD antennas, secured with a Commdeck mounting system. ComponexX said the mounting configuration does not void roofing warrantees or create problems with water intrusion, grounding or esthetics.

ComponexX, based in Sunrise, Fla., said prewiring homes for HD and other potential add-on products adds value to new homes and saves new homeowners money in the long run. Its products are sold directly to builders, integrators and installers for multidwelling units, as well as single-family homes. While the firm said it produces its own line, it does accept OEM and ODM projects, too.
