PBS Receives Grant to Develop Digital Public Affairs Service
PBS has received a $200,000 grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to help develop a new digital service focused on public affairs programming. "PBS Public Square" (working title) will be created by an advisory panel of station representatives, producers and "thought leaders," according to PBS. The panel will work with PBS Senior Vice President of Programming Jacoba Atlas.
