Panasonic has announced the introduction of a new entry in its lineup of high-definition LCD video production monitors, the BT-LH2550. The unit has a screen size of 25.5-inches and provides 1920 x 1200 resolution.
The new monitor also features switchable color space settings, allowing it to exceed the NTSC standard color gamut. Six color settings are available for expanding the range of colors presented. These include: SMPTE, EBU, ITU-R BT.709, Adobe 2.2, Adobe 1.8 and D-Cinema.
The BT-LH2550 also includes waveform monitor and vectorscope functionality and can provide a split-screen display for comparing two video inputs side-by-side.
