NAB reports that 15 more television stations have begun transmitting digital
signals, which ups the tally to 901. The 15 new DTV stations are:

WTJP, Gadsden, Ala. (Trinity-owned independent)
WFXB, Myrtle Beach, S.C. (Fox affiliate)
KTUL, Tulsa, Okla. (ABC affiliate)
WNED, Buffalo, N.Y. (PBS member station)
KAMR, Amarillo, Texas (NBC affiliate)
KCIT, Amarillo, Texas (FOX affiliate)
KSEE, Fresno, Calif. (NBC affiliate)
WTIU, Bloomington, Ind. (PBS member station)
WBRC, Birmingham, Ala. (Fox affiliate)
WORK, Rochester, N.Y. (ABC affiliate)
KWBA, Tucson, Ariz. (WB affiliate)
KPLR, St. Louis, Mo. (WB affiliate)
WKOP, Knoxville, Tenn. (PBS member station)
KTWU, Topeka, Kan. (PBS member station)

According to the NAB, DTV signals are now being transmitted in 189 markets that include nearly 98 percent of U.S. TV households. In addition, 78 percent of the more than 106 million U.S. TV households are in markets with five or more broadcasters airing DTV and over 48 percent are in markets with eight or more broadcasters sending digital signals.
