OmniBus Training Resellers for iTX
OmniBus Systems, maker of broadcast automation and content management solutions, has launched a value-added reseller (VAR) program for iTX, its software-based production and transmission solution.
The program has been developed to enhance OmniBus’ reach into different market sectors and allows resellers to target and provide a solution to a wide range of markets including traditional broadcast, IPTV, Internet and mobile TV applications. Making the playout and automation technology available through resellers has previously been impractical due to the complex nature of broadcast automation systems, OmniBus said.
“Resellers understand iTX more easily, and the installation, training and operation are dramatically simplified when compared with systems based on conventional technologies,” said Laura Kirkland, OmniBus channel sales manager. “Resellers in Europe, the Pacific Rim and Asia have already joined the program, and we are in the process of recruiting many more.”
Potential VARs are taken through a detailed evaluation process to establish their strengths and potential target markets, the company said. Once accepted into the program, they attend a comprehensive sales and technical training course at OmniBus’ headquarters in England, at the end of which they are fully equipped to propose, install and train on iTX.
Resellers have access to a range of services from OmniBus, including marketing and lead-generation support and a dedicated iTX Web site with the latest support information, software updates, training guides and other product documentation.
