Nunnery Marks 10,000th Live Show
Beasley station WAZZ(AM) congratulated Curt Nunnery on his 10,000th live broadcast in Fayetteville, N.C., on March 1.
He has broadcast morning shows in the area market for more than 45 years.
Nunnery made his debut in the Fayetteville community in 1960 at WFAI(AM), following relocation by the U.S. Army to the area. Over 31 years, he hosted "Curt's Coffee Club" at WFAI and later became the station's sales manager.
In 1997, he moved to WAZZ where he has continued to host "Curt's Coffee Club" in the mornings from 6-9 a.m. After the show, he works as the station's sales manager for the rest of the day.
