Nucomm Scores Time Warner Cable ENG Contract
Local News Group of Time Warner Cable has inked a $1 million-plus deal with Nucomm to supply digital ENG transmit and receive systems for six more of its 24-hour local news channels.

The news channels, located in Raleigh and Charlotte, N.C, Houston and San Antonio, Texas and Albany and Syracuse, N.Y, will use Nucomm's Newscaster/Newscoder COFDM microwave equipment in ENG vans built by Frontline Communications.

Each news operation will also have the central receive sites equipped with the Nucomm CR6 digital receiver, Radio Waves Ellipses antennas and a Wescam remote control system.
