NRB 2005 Tech Lab To Feature Manufacturer Demos, Education Sessions
The National Religious Broadcasters says its 2005 convention will highlight technology, featuring the debut of the NRB Tech Lab, which the organization describes as live demonstrations of the latest broadcast technologies. TV equipment manufacturers such as Apple, Avid, Grass Valley, Hitachi and Panasonic will exhibit in the lab Feb. 12-15.
Demonstrations include: video editing suites; cameras and switchers; and high-tech education sessions, such as discussions entitled, "What Can Fiber Do For You?" and "Archiving Solutions." Additionally, Hitachi will show its robotic camera systems, and Sony will feature its XDCam tapeless format.
The 62nd NRB Annual Convention is in Anaheim, Calif., this year at the Anaheim Convention Center Feb. 11-16. Find details of NRB 2005 events, including the Tech Lab listing of companies and scheduled demonstrations, at www.nrb.org.
