NMT Names John Kemps Vice President, Engineering
National Mobile Television has promoted John Kemps to vice president of engineering.

He will be responsible for all engineering and technology at the Torrance, Calif.-based company, with the company's 50 engineers reporting directly to him. In addition Kemps will be responsible for all truck design and construction. In 1997 Kemps joined NMT--which provides mobile television facilities for the production of television broadcasts from remote locations--as an engineer and most recently served as director of engineering. He has been involved in the World Series, X-Games and the Academy Awards.

Kemps holds degrees in television from the College of Marin and Napa Valley College and is SBE certified.
