Newpoint Indoor Antenna Design Claims Improved Low-VHF DTV Performance
Increased interest in off-air DTV reception has resulted in increased interest in indoor antennas. At the Consumer Electronics Show in this past weekend in Las Vegas, Power Sentry introduced two new lines of its "Newpoint" indoor TV antennas. Power Sentry said the Newpoint Vcept antenna is designed to "harmonize with the design of today's flat screen digital TVs. " The Argo has a high-tech design to match A/V systems and modern decor.
On the technical side, both antennas are available in both passive and amplified version with separate amplifiers and gain controls for UHF and UHF reception. Both antennas have 44-inch VHF dipoles with 360-degree rotation for "superior" low-VHF channel reception.
For more information on these antennas, see
The Newpoint Web site. and its
Lifestyle Antenna page.
