New York Gets New Radio Production Facility
Post-production house Sound Lounge has launched a $2 million radio production facility in the Flatiron District of New York. It will offer radio ad services including concept development, copywriting, casting, recording, music production and sound design.
Marshall Grupp will head the new radio production division of Sound Lounge. Tony Mennuto, who has written for HBO and SaturdayNightLive.com, and Gregg Singer, a former partner at J. Walter Thompson, are among the creative team.
"The ambitious moves reflect Sound Lounge's firm belief that advertising in general, and the New York production community in particular, is on the verge of a strong rebound," the company stated.
New studio facilies include Digidesign Pro Tools|HD workstations.
