New MultiDyne Fiber-Optic Transport Solutions Address 3-Gig, Long-Haul
MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will unveil three multiple fiber-optic transport solutions at NAB.
The HD-3000 Series 3 Gbps serial digital video fiber-optic transport link supports the new 1080p progressive 3 Gbps HD format. Designed to provide an easy and cost effective method for migrating to digital and high-definition television, the HD-3000 provides fiber-optic transport and distribution of virtually any digital signal from 5 Mbps to 3 Gbps, future-proofing system designs and infrastructure to support 1080p.
The TP-RGB-1000 UTP Link transports UXGA (1600x1200) video and stereo audio over CAT5, 5e or CAT6 UTP lines. Features include automatic equalization and advanced anti-skew technology that automatically corrects skew problems and distortion, eliminating the need for expensive non-skew cable. The TP-RGB-1000 also features twisted pair transport, which allows separation of a video signal source and the monitor, enabling a computer or imaging device to be placed in a different location for applications where monitor space is limited.
The DVI-5000 single and dual link is a long-haul transport solution for high-quality uncompressed DVI signals over one fiber. Features include support for DVI signals up to WQXGA resolution of 2560x1600, and stereo audio and data. The DVI-5000 transports a pixel-for-pixel image that is 100 percent transparent with no frame dropping, and enables 100 percent 24-bits for all scan rates with no contouring or bit reduction at a high scan rate.
MultiDyne will be at Booth SU3411.
