New Indian News Channel Startup Assisted by Snell & Wilcox
Television Eighteen India Ltd. has announced that it is partnering with Turner International to launch CNN-IBN, a news and information channel. The venture is using
Snell & Wilcox IQ Modular products for the operation's infrastructure.
"Whenever we implement a new project, we are under tight deadlines, and we need reliable products and manufacturers to honor our tight delivery schedules," said Sanjat Sharma, vice president of operations for TV18. "Snell & Wilcox has always come through for us, and its large range of IQ Modular systems provides us the reliability and efficiency we need for our daily operations."
Snell & Wilcox's RollCall control and monitoring system is part of the installation and will link a variety of distribution amplifiers, synchronizers, codecs and other terminal equipment at the news channel.
The new channel will provide viewers with a variety of business and consumer news.
