New CTE Entity Takes Shape
Bologna, Italy-based Teko Telecom has announced its merger into a new industrial grouping with another two broadcast technology firms.

Teko Telecom, Reggio Emilia-based CTE International - Meta System and Milan-based CTE DB have created the new entity under the name "CTE Digital Broadcast" with a nominal capital of €5.1 billion.

The stated aim of CTE Digital Broadcast is to maximize operational synergy, boost collective competitiveness and position itself as a major international player in the period of transition from analog to digital transmission technology.

CTE Digital Broadcast is headquartered in Milan with branch offices in Bologna and Reggio Emilia. The Milan office will handle all administrative and commercial operations, as well as R&D, system production and materials purchasing, while the Meta System group facilities will produce all subparts and modules.
