Neumann says it has decided to give the winner of its campaign celebrating the 40th anniversary of the U 87 microphone a chance to choose between two prizes.

They are a trip to Neumann Berlin, including a tour of the company, sightseeing, travel costs and hotel accommodations; or a U 87 Anniversary Set, which carries a value of more than $4,400.

The “U 87 and You” campaign continues through Dec. 31. Any video message on the topic “My Associations With the U 87” can be submitted. The first-place winner will be selected by a draw from among the 87 best entries, which can range from a cell phone video with a short statement, to excerpts from archival material, to a report on a vocal recording experience using the U 87.
