NEP Adds More Calrec Audio Alpha Consoles
NEP Broadcasting has purchased two 72-fader Alpha digital audio consoles from
Calrec Audio for installation on its SS25 and ND3HD mobile trucks. The addition brings NEP's fleet to a total of four Alpha consoles.
Based in Pittsburgh, NEP Broadcasting provides broadcast services to the sports and entertainment industries. The company said its new units would provide broadcasting services primarily for NEP's network clients showcasing golf, auto-racing, and NFL games.
"These are the standard consoles we put in our trucks. They are easy to operate and we find we save money with them because there is very little training required," said George Hoover, senior vice president of engineering at NEP.
