NAB Draws International Crowd
NAB currently has 33 international groups lined up for NAB2003, rivaling last year's record number of 39.

At NAB2002, more than 20,000 conference-goers representing over 137 countries converged in Las Vegas and NAB says at least that many are expected for the show this April. The foreign delegations are organized by embassies or companies to manage the logistics for obtaining visas, hotel rooms, travel and registration as well as translations of select sessions.

NAB says that a leader in drawing the non-U.S. attendees is the Dept. of Commerce, through its International Buyer Program. The number of international exhibitors has topped 225, approximately 20 of which will be featured in four international pavilions: U.K., Korean, Scottish Enterprise and UBI France.
