Production music company 615 Music acquired music library Metro Music Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

615 says the Metro Music library has been regarded as one of the best small production music libraries. The catalogue contains original titles, ready to license.

"This acquisition ... helps us expand 615 Music's global outreach", said CEO Randy Wachtler. "I have known [Metro Music Owner/Composer] Mitch Coodley for many years, and have always admired his music. We are delighted that he will continue to write and produce original new music for Metro".

With the addition, 615 Music now offers 12 production libraries and 500 CDs of music.
