MRC to Transmit and Receive With Advanced Microwave Products
At NAB2007,
Microwave Radio Communications will showcase its new MDR-2, a portable, dual-diversity digital microwave receiver that may be rapidly deployed to cover sports, news, and outside broadcasts from ground locations, from the air, or from a moving vehicle.
The MDR-2 diversity system uses the latest maximal ratio combining technology to optimize the quality and useable range of the transmitted signal.
MRC will also demonstrate its new PTX-PRO for portable, mobile, or airborne applications. The PTX-PRO Transmitter Unit is a portable transmitter with user-selectable choices of FM modulation and COFDM modulation with MPEG, plus built-in universal AC and DC power supplies.
The PTX-PRO accepts NTSC or PAL formats with up to four audio channels. It can also accept a 70 MHz IF signal from an external source such as the SCM4000 Single Carrier Modem. The PRX-PRO receiver is offered in 2 GHz or 2/7 GHz switchable versions.
Microwave Radio Communications will be in booths C2007 and OE300.
