Montreal-based Miranda Technologies has appointed John Cerquone, a 15-year broadcast industry veteran, as national sales manager for production and post-production products.

Cerquone’s new responsibilities will include establishing and developing a channel of resellers and rental houses to distribute and market Miranda production and acquisition interfacing products.

"John comes to Miranda with a wealth of sales and marketing experience," said Joe LoGrasso, vice president of sales. "He really knows the reseller channel, and the challenges of sales and distribution in this business."

Cerquone previously held sales management positions with Sony Electronics and Avid Technology.
