MIRA Mobile Television Preps for HD with Fujinon Lenses
Portland, Ore.-based MIRA Mobile Television recently purchased 11 high-definition camera lenses for its new production truck, the M-5. The company expects the truck to be ready by November 2004 and will use M-5 to cover a variety of entertainment and sports events in the Western U.S.
When fitted up for production, the M-5 truck will include four 72x9 and two 87x9 lenses, all with Fujinon's optical stabilization. In addition, the truck will also roll with three 22x7.8 and two 13x4.5 ENG-style lenses. All the lenses are designed for high-definition service.
MIRA's purchase of these Fujinon HD lenses comes on the heels of similar announcements by Trio Productions in Chicago and F&F Productions in Clearwater, Fla.
