Strategy & Technology has appointed Mike Alexander as Regional Sales Manager, Europe.

Alexander brings over 20 years industry experience with him and joins from set-top box (STB) developer Pace, where amongst other things he was responsible for the company's high-end media-centric products. He was also involved in the integration of the Philips retail STB business following its acquisition by Pace early last year.

"This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining Strategy & Technology. The company has a unique range of solutions for interactive TV and the accelerating transition to digital TV, and MHEG in particular, across Europe and many other markets creates a huge opportunity for the business," Alexander said.

Alexander has also previously held the post of Platform Development Manager at Kingston Interactive Television (KIT), and Director of Product Development at Pindar Systems.
