Media Security and Reliability Council II Meets June 2
The FCC officially recharted the Media Security and Reliability Council (MSRC). The recharted group, MSRC II, will hold its initial meeting June 2, 2004 at the FCC in Washington D.C. MSRC II, like its predecessor, is a Federal Advisory Committee that reports to FCC Chairman Michael Powell. David J. Barrett, President and CEO of Hearst-Argyle will chair the committee. Committee members represent top management from a wide range of media companies and telecommunications infrastructure providers. The FCC News Release announcing MSRC includes a complete listing of members of the Council.
