Media Monitors Has Clear Channel Monitoring Deal
The Media Monitors machine has been cranking out the press releases in recent months, telling about the company's sales of Aircheck content to various broadcast companies and other media.
Now the supplier, which is part of RCS, is trumpeting a big one: It says it will begin monitoring in 25 top markets next Wednesday in an agreement to provide its online broadcast monitoring services to 130 Clear Channel radio stations.
Radio CEO John Hogan of Clear Channel characterized the deal as part of his company's plans to air spots and songs in a less cluttered environment.
