Azcar Technologies opened a third North American office in Atlanta Oct. 1 that will serve as a regional sales and operations base.

The expansion is a result in part, of the acquisition of Synergistic Technologies in 2000, Megahertz Broadcast Systems in 2003 and Pro-Com Systems in 2005.

Additionally, the Toronto-based company has added sales professionals in Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles, all of whom were employed by DST, a system integration company headquartered in Atlanta. Key personnel include Jack Verner, 40-year industry veteran, formerly of Turner Entertainment, Bill Bratton, formerly of Turner Broadcasting and three more engineering staff members.
