Linear Acoustic Names New Director of Engineering
Linear Acoustic has named Erik Booth as its new director of engineering. He will oversee all of the Lancaster, Pa., company’s engineering and new product design.
The new position is a promotion for Booth, as he has been serving as senior hardware engineer for Linear Acoustic.
“Erik has significant experience working with broadcast technologies on a variety of levels, from schematics and circuitry to system-level design”, said Tim Carroll, Linear Acoustic founder and president. “As we continue to develop innovative audio processing products for digital broadcasting, Erik’s leadership and well-rounded experience in audio and video systems engineering will be tremendous assets”.
Booth began his career in control systems and previously worked as a senior hardware engineer for Sigma Electronics. He has been with Linear Acoustic since 2005.
