LIN TV and DISH Agree on Retrans Terms
LIN TV reached a retransmission deal with direct broadcast satellite provider, Dish Network. The agreement covers standard- and high-definition signals for 26 LIN stations in 17 markets.

Englewood, Colo.-based Dish also agreed to a marketing deal where they’ll promote Dish in LIN markets where cable operators drop the station in retrans disputes.

LIN owns and operates a total of 29 network-affiliated stations in 17 markets reaching about 10.2 million households. Dish has nearly 14 million satellite TV subscribers.
