SAN Solutions has announced that Oakland, Calif.’s KTVU, a Cox Enterprises television station, is now using that company’s Media Archive Infrastructure in conjunction with the Flashnet content storage management system from Software Generation (SGL) for archiving the station’s media assets.

The archiving system and infrastructure were integrated initially with KTVU’s Harris automation system and Grass Valley K2 video server, and later was expanded to interface with the station’s Grass Valley Aurora tapeless high-definition production suite.

KTVU is the San Francisco Bay Area Fox affiliate.
