Keywest Technology Releases MX Player Update
Keywest Technology has released a free update to its MediaXtreme Player software (Version 6.8.4) for broadcasters, MSOs, and digital signage companies. The update has greatly improved the motion stability of crawls, scrolls and media file playback, according to the company.
Targeting users of MediaXtreme MX5, MX5-PLUS, MX7 and all current
MediaXtreme media servers, Keywest says the release does not include the discontinued MX1, MX2, MX3 or MX4 products, nor is it for
MediaPOD owners.
"Since the release of the MX-ASI and MX-SDI, our MediaXtreme media servers have offered broadcasters and cable system operators a powerful solution for their media playback and scheduling needs," said Keywest Technology President Nick Nichols. "At the same time, we've recognized that these customers in particular require the utmost in reliability and performance."
Nichols said with this update, Keywest Technology has taken a major step in advancing the MediaXtreme media server to meet those needs.
