Quantel has announced the appointment of Johnsen Yue to the position of general manager for Quantel's China operations.

Yue will be at Quantel's Beijing regional head office and will work closely with Regional Sales Manager Phil Roebuck and newly appointed Business Development Executive, Josh Che.

In his new position, Yue is assuming responsibility for Quantel business, marketing and sales channel development throughout Greater China. Working alongside the U.K. headquarters management team, Yue will be responsible for continuing to build excellent communication between the company and its customers throughout the region.

Yue has 13 years' experience in the post and broadcast industries, most recently as business development and sales director for Avid Technology. He has also served as general manager of the broadcast business unit of CHESS Computer Ltd., and prior to this was the founder of post-production house Nantain Digital Studio, where his time as an artist and animator was put to good use.
