Jampro Receives Contract to Supply Antennas for Afghanistan Network
Jampro will be providing its VHF Prostar slot antennas to the government-run national TV network in Afghanistan -- People's Radio and TV Afghanistan. The network currently has regional TV stations in nine of Afghanistan's 32 provinces and is looking to rebuild its distribution, since much of the country's TV infrastructure was damaged or destroyed in the 2001 war.

Under the contract issued by Afghanistan's Wizara-e-Muhaberat (Ministry of Communications), Jampro will supply 24 of its top mount VHF Prostar antennas. The antennas will be used at various power levels and have the ability to be combined for HDTV and NTSC broadcasting.
