iPhone 3G: Apple Moves More Into Cellphones
The big news in the consumer electronics world this week was the iPhone 3G.
Sales start next month, and prices are as low as $199 for an 8 GB model; that’s seen as an important change in affordability that will bring the Apple device to a wider audience.
The
New York Times has the story.
Unfortunately the new model does not have radio features.
Radio industry leaders, including David Rehr of NAB, have said in high-profile forums that their goal is to get radio receivers into the design of new gadgets, especially handheld mobile products.
