Interep, Citadel Bury the Hatchet
Interep and Citadel have settled their differences. Interep had filed suit against Citadel after the broadcaster pulled its business from the Interep-owned McGavren Guild to go to Katz instead in October of 2003. In a joint statement, both companies said they agree that Citadel no longer contends that McGavren Guild breached the contract or failed to adequately perform. The terms of the settlement are confidential and Interep Chairman/CEO Ralph Guild said both companies felt it was time to settle the dispute and move on.
