The latest is INRIX’s Traffic Pro, an upgrade of the INRIX Traffic app. The Traffic Pro makes use of data provided by Clear Channel’s Total Traffic Network, among other sources.

INRIX Traffic Pro adds features to the basic INRIX Traffic navigation/traffic congestion app. It adds predictive algorithms to calculate drive times, alternate routes, predictive and prospective future traffic patterns.

The partnership with Clear Channel adds the broadcaster’s detailed local traffic reports.

The companies say that INRIX Traffic apps make use of 1.5 million vehicle GPS and mobile device inputs plus information from public and private transportation monitoring agencies and groups.
