In the Mood for Chinese, RCS Introduces Zetta
Automation system developer RCS has a new automation system out called Zetta. But Zetta isn’t available yet in the United States.
Sprung at the BroadcastAsia show this week in Singapore, Zetta is aimed at the Chinese radio market. It has a GUI displaying Chinese characters only.
RCS CEO Philippe Generali said, “We’re proud to say that Zetta will be recognized as the most advanced radio automation system in the world.”
While Zetta developed out of the line of previous RCS platforms such as NexGen Digital, Generali added, “But Zetta has been built from a clean sheet of paper, so it also incorporates many totally new cutting edge features.”
Zetta is compatible with the RCS GSelector scheduler.
Generali said, “Zetta was designed from the ground up to be totally flexible in configuration, from a single workstation, to a network and to the Web.”
English-language versions of Zetta were demoed at the recent NAB Show in Las Vegas but plans for the U.S. market have not been released.
