Idaho Public TV ‘Bursts’ Into HD
Denver-based systems integrator Burst will lead the upgrade of two HD production control rooms for Idaho Public Television. Burst will be involved with equipment procurement and integration at two university campus studios: KUID at the University of Idaho in Moscow, serving northern Idaho; and KISU at Idaho State University in Pocatello, serving the eastern reaches of the Wilderness State.

The new HD digital control rooms are the first phase of a multi-year project that will impact equipment and facilities statewide—including field and editing, studio production facilities, Internet content and delivery, transmitters and repeaters and network operations upgrades.

The project will begin this summer.
