IBC2007: Canon to Show Remote Control Pan-and-tilt HD
Canon plans to demo, among a host of its other products, its new remote pan-and- tilt HD camera (model BU-40H) at IBC2007 in Amsterdam.

The new professional field unit was designed for remotes, including news ENG, sports coverage, and other exterior shoots, Canon said.

The BU-40H allows remote-controlling such effects as platform pan-and-tilt and zoom-and-focus (20x optical) for quickly adjusted HD imaging, according to Canon.

Canon said HD-SDI and SD (VBS) signals can be output simultaneously, and therefore the HD-SDI can be used as a mainline system and the SD signal as a monitoring system.
