Hosa Hauls Out New Mic-to-USB Interface

Accessory, cable and widget maker Hosa Technology has added a new USB interface to its collection of useful tools. It is designed to provide direct access to software-based audio applications.

Tracklink has an in-line design rather than a box design. That is, it is basically a 10-foot XLR cable with a USB connector at the male end with a small box near the XLR end.

The box has a thumb-wheel gain control, 48V phantom power and record LEDs.

It should be compatible with dynamic and condenser microphones and any DAW program. Performance is 16-bit/48 kHz.

Price: $69.95.
