HipCricket Signs Hispanic Media Companies for Mobile Marketing Network
Mobile marketing firm HipCricket launched what it calls the first comprehensive Hispanic mobile marketing network.
The network is made up of media properties that can be used by marketers to deliver targeted and interactive marketing programs to the handsets of mobile users. The network is permission-based so consumers only receive text, alerts and other interactions they request. Messages are customized based on a consumer’s preferences.
HipCricket said Hispanic media companies Bustos Media, Lotus Communications and Davidson Media Group joined the network.
Marketers can customize a media plan of Hispanic stations in the network and their audiences with a single buy, HipCricket said.
“One of the nation’s most rapidly-growing demographics, Hispanics are heavy users of mobile technology and text messaging,” according to the company.
HipCricket launched in 2004 and positions itself as a conduit for new revenue for radio, television, brand and agency clients.
