HD Studios Upgrades To Avid Nitris
(January 13, 2004) Marina Del Rey, CA--With the upgrade of its AVID DS HD system to an Avid Nitris system, HD Studios is one of only a handful of companies to offer affordable start-to-finish, high-end, high definition production services (from camera rental and crew through post-production).
HD Studios owns and rents the Sony HDW F900 high definition camera, which is capable of shooting in various frame rates (23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, and 59.94), in NTSC or PAL, and in both progressive and interlaced modes. Its resolution is 1920x1080. HD Studios can provide a digital imaging technician to those who have never shot with a Sony HD camera.
HD Studios recently upgraded from an Avid DS HD to the Nitris system for high definition online editing and color correction. The Nitris was designed to facilitate creative editing, conforming and finishing of all types of projects at multiple compressed and uncompressed standard definition and high definition formats.
