HD Radio Rollout at Medium-Sized Companies Examined
IBOC proponents have said medium and smaller group owners are important potential customers as the HD Radio rollout continues. So how’s it going there?

BIA Financial Network prepared an analysis for Radio World of the rollout at groups ranked 26th through 50th by revenue.

Some samples: Among that list of owners, the top-earning company is No. 26 Inner City, owning 17 stations but with none on the air in HD Radio.

Sandusky Radio, No. 30 on the BIA revenue list, has 40% of its 10 stations on the air with HD Radio; Buckley has 15% of its 20 stations on; Max Media has none of its 37 stations in HD Radio.

Statistics are provided by BIAfn using Ibiquity data. For the full list, see the HD Radio Scoreboard of the Nov. 21 RW.
